Welcome to The Reading Hive! Based in Pinellas County, FL, we offer both in-person and online tutoring services to support students locally and across the country.
Our mission is to strengthen foundational reading skills using evidence-based strategies rooted in the Science of Reading. Each of our tutors is a licensed educator with specialized experience in teaching reading effectively.
We focus on key areas such as phonics, phonological awareness, fluency, and spelling--building blocks that support strong reading comprehension. Our team is skilled in working with students of all abilities, including those with dyslexia and other learning differences.
Every child learns differently, which is why our approach is personalized to meet the unique needs of each student.
In-person tutoring services are currently offered in mid-county areas including Seminole, Largo, Pinellas Park, and West St. Petersburg.

I am a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and work full-time for the public school system. I earned an Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology from the University of Central Florida after attending Arizona State University for my bachelor's degree in Psychology.
For the past 7 years, I've worked closely with students, families, and educators to support academic success. My work includes screening for reading difficulties, implementing targeted interventions, tracking progress, problem-solving, and evaluating for learning disabilities. Through this experience, I've seen firsthand how essential early reading support is--especially for struggling readers.
I founded The Reading Hive to provide accessible, high-quality reading intervention that makes a lasting difference. I believe that reading is the foundation for success in school, in careers, and in life--and I'm committed to helping every child become a confident, capable reader.
